The Center for Applicable Mathematics of the Tata Institute of
Fundamental Research (TIFR-CAM), a Deemed University, under the
Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. Of India, is looking for a very
dynamic self-motivated individual with proven leadership skills to fill
the post of Administrative Officer. Members of TIFR-CAM are engaged in
cutting edge research and teaching in the field of Applicable
Mathematics and allied areas, and this position is charged with the
responsibility of providing excellent administrative support. We are
looking for someone who is capable of supporting the academics in
fulfilling the vision of TIFR-CAM, is creative, and is receptive to the
challenge of working with a diverse group of people.
Administrative Officer-D – 1 position
Administrative Officer D (UR), Hq. Bangalore: PB3
Rs.15,600-39,100+ GP Rs.6,600, Total Monthly Emoluments – Rs. 54,713.00.

can be given upto 5 years in the case of experienced/meritorious
candidates. In case enough number of candidates are not found for Admin
Officer D position, candidates with experience in lower grades also may
be considered for a position of Admin Officer C with GP of Rs. 5,400.00
(TME – 46,230.00).
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
(1) Graduate with 60% marks, (2) Diploma in Management, (3) Knowledge
of use of personal computers and its applications, (4) At least 5 years
experience in Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/5400 (4200/4600/4800 for AOC) or
equivalent level of responsibility in a large and reputed organization.
Experience in dealing with Administrative & Establishment matters,
Accounts, Budget, Purchase & Stores, Outsourcing contracts, etc.
Desirable: Post Graduate in Management.
Age: Below 45 years for AOD, 40 yrs. for AOC as on 1/7/2012.
