Section Procedure: Written test will undergo PFT, interview and recruitment Medical Examination (Preliminary)
Medical Standards:Minimum
height 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and
tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms. Weight:
Proportionate to height and age +_10% acceptable. Hearing: normal.
Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as
per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to
Enrolled Personnel on entry. Good mental, medical and physical health,
free from any disease/disability, likely to interfere with efficient
performance of duties. No Cardio-vascular disease, surgical deformities
like knock knee, flat feet etc. infection of ears, no history of fits
or psychiatric ailment, varicose vein, corrective surgery for eye sight
etc. Visual Standards- 6/12 (Good Eye) and 6/24 (Bad Eye). Candidates
are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax and tartar removed from
teeth prior to examination.
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800
How to apply
Applications will be accepted 'Online only' from 03 Sep to 17 Sep 12.
After submitting online application, candidates are required to print
two copies of the application with number generated by the system. Both
copies of the print out of application duly signed with photograph are
to be carried by the applicant to the testing centre. Out of the two
copies one copy enclosed with photocopies of all required documents i.e.
class 10th certificate/mark sheet showing date of birth, three year
diploma certificate along with mark sheet showing subjects and
percentage of marks, caste certificate wherever required and NCC
certificate/games certificate duly attested by the Gazetted Officer
shall also be carried by the candidate and submitted at the examination
centre. Second copy without any enclosure is to be kept with the
candidate as an identity proof during the selection procedure. Any
candidate who does not carry all these documents at the time of test
shall not be permitted to appear in the exam.

Job Description:- Indian Air Force, offers submissions for bachelor male applicants for the selection as an Senior Non Commissioned Officer in the Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor).
Qualification:- Graduate in any subject with B.Ed degree or 2 year teaching experience in a Government Recognised College. Applicants should have scored a least of 50% results in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed.
Post-Graduate in MA English or MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or MCA with B Ed degree or 2 year teaching experience in a Government recognised College.
Date of Birth: (a) For Graduates – Must be born between 01 Oct 1987 to 31 Aug 1992 (Both days inclusive). (b) For Post-Graduates – Must be born between 01 Oct 1984 to 31 Aug 1992 (Both days inclusive).

The Employment Test will be held at 1 Airmen Selection Centre, 48 Mansfield Road, Ambala Cantt (Haryana) from 02 July 2012 to 08 July 2012 as per the Selection Programme given below. The Recruitment Test will be lead from 7 AM onwards every day as per the details given below. Applicants reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Place will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.
