A Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a pre-requisite (pre-qualification) for recruitment of personnel for Group-“A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group-“B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts in the Regional Rural Banks
This system of Common Examination for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) has been approved by the Government of India, notified by NABARD and has the mandate of each of the RRBs
As per the procedure for recruitment individual who aspire to join Regional Rural Bank either as an Officer (Scale-I, II & III) or as an Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will necessarily be required to qualify through the CWE. Prospective candidates who wish to appear for the CWE will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement and in compliance of eligibility criteria, online registration process, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters and score cards.

Qualification : i) Degree from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India. And ii) A Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awarness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 6o hrs from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which is be waived where 'Computer' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation / Post-Graduate level and iii) Candidates should be qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS.

Test : Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awarness, Computer Knowledge & Descriptive Paper on English.

Category wise Cut-Off Marks : For General 24&above & SC/ST/OBC/PWD 21 & above.

Application Fee : Rs. 250/- for General & OBC candidates. Rs. 50/- for others at any Central Bank of India Branches in India.

Selection Procedure : Interview of 50 marks.
