The applications are
invited from eligible candidates against Scout Guide quota on prescribed
proforma for recruitment in Group "D" category on Temporary basis in
Agra Division of North Central Railway:-
1. No. of vacancy: - 02
{TWO) in Group "D"
2. Pay Band & Grade
Pay - Rs. 5200-20200 GP Rs. 1800/-
3. Age as on 01.01.2013
- Between 18 to 33 years. (Age relaxation for SCIST- 5 Yrs. & OBO- 3
Yrs.} Proof of Date of
Birth should be enclosed.
4. Educational
Qualification- High School or equivalent {From recognized institute) (Copy of

should be enclosed)
5. Essential qualification
In regard to Scout & Guide- Candidates must fulfill the following
qualification and conditions for recruitment in group "D" category
against Scout Sr Guide quota.
a) A President`s
Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover— certificate holder OR Himalayan Wood Badge holder OR
A Pre—HWB trained Scout Leader/Advance trained guide/aderi/captain. OR b) should
have been an active member of a scout organization for at least 3 years in the
recent past and should continue to be active. c) Should have attended at least
one event at National Level and one or two event at State Level. OR Should have
a good record of participation in scouts/guide activities at Unit/District
level.
6.EXmination Fee:-
General & OBC candidate should enclosed Bank Draft of Rs. 40/- (Rupees
forty) in favour of
"Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, North Central Railway, Agra Payable at
Agra"aIong with application. Women, SCIST, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs,
Buddhists, Zorastrian {parsis) and Economically Backward Class candidates are
exempted from payment of examination fees. Economically backward classes will
mean the candidates whose family income is less than Rs. 50,000 per annum {For
this purpose a Income Certificate issued by the competent authority must be
attached)
7. Last date for
receiving applications:- All the applications completely filled along with the
required enclosures must be sent by ordinary Post addressed to "Sr.
Divisional Personnel Officer, Divisional Railway Managers Office, Agra
Cantt.", which must reach on or before 24-09-2012 by 6.00 PM. Application
may also be submitted in person in a Box placed in DRM Office, Personnel branch
DRM Office Building, Agra Cantt. on any working day (except Saturday it Sunday
& Gazetted holidays} in between 10.00,AM to 6.00 PM before the last date
24-09-2012. All the envelopes must posses. Employment Notice No. and write
"Application for Recruitment against Scout/Guide quota." on Top of
envelop in red ink. Applications received
after the last date
i.e. 24-09-2012 will not be entertained.
8. Selection procedures
Selection will be based on the written examination (objective type questions)
& Viva-Voce. The written examination shall relate to Scouts and Guides
