We have ambitious plans for the regeneration of Nottingham. An opportunity has arisen for a planning officer to help us to realise this vision. You will help us to deliver a high quality and forward looking development management service.
Reporting to one of our area planning managers, you will be involved in processing a range of planning applications. You will work pro-actively with applicants and their agents to find solutions to problems and to deliver timely decisions. You will have excellent communication skills and will be familiar with all aspects of the planning application process.
We are looking to appoint someone with a degree or equivalent in planning (or a related discipline) and have experience of dealing with planning applications and related enquiries and appeals. You will be eligible for membership of the RTPI or other relevant professional body.
