Name of the post: Telescope Trainee
No. of Posts: Three
Qualification:
a) Essential: B.Sc. Passed with subjects Physics and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks in both subjects.
b) Desirable: Knowledge of computer programming
Age limit: Below 25 years
Tenure of appointment: Initially for one year and extendable by two more years, subject to satisfactory performance.
Consolidated Salary (inclusive of all): 18,000/- per month with an annual increment of Rs.1000/-.
Place of Posting: CREST Campus, Hosakote, Bangalore
Job requirement: Support to Guest astronomers observing with the Himalayan Chandra Telescope during night time, and other support activities and training.
